The Union State of Belarus and Russia will launch a new program Integration SG. It will provide for large-scale space exploration and development of a new generation of satellites, Deputy State Secretary of the Union State Aleksei Kubrin said at the meeting at Belarus' National Academy of Sciences, BelTA has learned.

Upon the initiative of the American side State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Andrei Ravkov met with Charge d'Affaires of the United States of America in Belarus Jenifer Moore and military attachés of the USA, Germany, and Poland accompanying her on 29 January, the State Secretariat of the Security Council told BelTA.

The total level of infectious and parasitic morbidity by the end of 2019 is almost 12% lower than in 2018. BelTA was informed about it by the deputy chief physician of the Minsk Regional Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health Irina Milanovich. 

On 1 February Belarus will raise customs duties on oil and petroleum products, which are exported beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union(EAEU). The decision is laid down in the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. 46 as of 28 January 2020, BelTA has learned.

In the metropolitan region, six large taxpayers accounted for 32% of budget revenues, or about Br1.2 billion. BelTA learned from the inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties for the Minsk Region.

The unity of Belarusians is based on the feeling that they are citizens of an independent state, Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Andrei Kuntsevich told the ONT TV channel on 26 January, BelTA has learned.

The winners of the regional contest "Miss Minsk Region", which took place on January 24 at the Gorky Palace of Culture in Borisov, were determined. The event summed up the action "Beauties of the Minsk Region - the wealth of the country!", BelTA learned from the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee. 

Belarusian scientists are up to any challenge for the benefit of their country, read the greetings from Belarus' President Aleksandr Lukashenko to Belarusian scientists and workers of research institutes and higher education institutions on the occasion of their professional holiday. The message was read by First Deputy Head of Belarus President Administration Maksim Ryzhenkov at an official event at the National Academy of Sciences, BelTA learned.

The eco-market, which is being built on the outskirts of Minsk near the village of Valerianovo, will start operating at the end of the year. This was reported on the STV channel. 

Belarus and the United Kingdom are determined to scale up cooperation in all the areas. The matter was discussed at the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Belarus Jacqueline Perkins and Chair of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Natalya Kochanova on 24 January, BelTA has learned.
