Lukashenko sends Statehood Day greetings to Serbia

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic as the country celebrates Statehood Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Throughout its centuries-long history your country has not once become an object of harsh external pressure. The president emphasized that the Belarusians have always, even in the most difficult moments, helped the brotherly Serbian people. The two nations share common spiritual and cultural values.

“I believe that Serbia will remain a reliable partner of Belarus in the Balkans. Minsk looks forward to strengthening friendly relations with Belgrade, deepening bilateral contacts and expanding cooperation at all levels and in all areas of mutual interest,” said the head of state.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Aleksandar Vucic and the Serbian people strong health, fruitful activity and every success.
