MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to intensify economic cooperation with Namibia. The development of bilateral cooperation was in focus of the ceremony to present foreign ambassadors' credentials to Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko in the Palace of Independence on 24 November, BelTA has learned.
During an informal conversation with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Namibia to Belarus Clemens Handuukeme Kashuupulwa after the official ceremony, the head of state stressed: “We have a plan of cooperation with Namibia. There are concrete areas where we can strengthen relations.”
“We have already made certain steps to advance the bilateral economic cooperation,” the president noted. He expressed confidence that the Namibian ambassador's work will facilitate the intensification of the bilateral relations.
