Lukashenko sets task to reduce construction costs of dairy complexes

NAROVLYA DISTRICT, 27 April (BelTA) – During his visit to the Budki dairy complex at the Krinichnaya experimental agricultural enterprise, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko set the task of lowering the cost of building dairy complexes, BelTA has learned.

After reviewing the work organization, performance, and development plans of the dairy complex, the head of state remarked: “It’s too expensive. We need to find ways to make it cheaper.” A solution must be put in place so that they “fight tooth and nail to bring the cost down.”

Some argue that farms are building facilities with their own money and therefore have the right to choose. But the state subsidizes agriculture, the president remarked. “We could be saving that money for other projects,” he emphasized.
