In honor of the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, a dialogue platform was held at Krupki District Cultural Center. Different generations, including youth and labor veterans, gathered together.
Tatyana Melnik, Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the District Executive Committee, participated. Lilia Fedkina, a research fellow at the Museum of Local History, moderated the event. Lilia Geranimovna began her frank conversation with the audience with the words of the President of the Republic of Belarus: "We have one Fatherland: from Brest to Vladivostok." Lilia Fedkina discussed the key milestones in the development and strengthening of relations between Belarus and Russia.
Among those present were Russian by nationality, but Belarusians at heart. Lyudmila Kazak and Margarita Yevsevitskaya came to Belarus 39 years ago. Over the years, Belarus has become their homeland, and Krupki, their second home.
"Belarus has the most beautiful nature, strong cultural traditions, and the most delicious Belarusian cuisine. I am very glad that fate brought me to our country," Margarita Evsevitskaya emphasized.
Lyudmila Kazak addressed the youth:
"Love your homeland, start families here, work, raise children, and develop. Our country has all the necessary conditions for this."
Natalya Minaeva was born in Krupki, lived in the Russian Federation for a long time, and returned to her homeland and her roots. She conducts drawing master classes for adults and children at the Krupki Regional Cultural Center and invited everyone present to attend.
The meeting concluded with a festive concert. Patriotic songs were performed by Alexander Ganchar, Margarita Evsevitskaya, and Igor Sinitsyn.
