New Year is a holiday that both adults and children look forward to. Celebrating the New Year is always an expectation of a miracle, joy and fun.
However, along with the positive aspects, the pre-New Year period is accompanied by a sharp increase in the number of fires and injuries as a result of violation of fire safety rules, as well as careless handling of pyrotechnic products.
In order to prevent such emergencies, the republican campaign "Safe New Year!" will be held in Krupsky District from December 16 to 30. During this period, rescuers will visit educational institutions, organize interactive training sites in places with large numbers of people to remind people how inept and improper use of pyrotechnic products, violation of fire safety rules leads to fires, thermal burns and various injuries. Also, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will teach citizens the algorithm of actions in case of fire and other emergencies, show educational films, tell about the mobile application "Emergencies Ministry of Belarus: help is near" and the single emergency service phone number "112".
