Young rescuers of Krupki district added to the “treasury of good deeds”

The "Youth for Safety" campaign, dedicated to the birthday of the BMOOSP, has started in Krupshchina. Members of this youth organization are bright fighters for safety and a healthy lifestyle. Their life credo: observe it yourself and teach others! But senior citizens also know another quality of young rescuers - an attentive attitude towards people of the "golden age". As part of the "112 good deeds" campaign, BMOOSP activists are heading to the homes of those who really need their help.

This time, the labor landing party "landed" in the urban settlement of Bobr. Armed with visual aids, taking autonomous fire alarms and batteries for them, the children - students of the Bobrskaya secondary school - together with the teacher and propaganda inspector of the district department for emergency situations Natalya Sergovich went to the houses of veterans of pedagogical work.

Warm conversations start right from the doorway: how are you? what are you doing? is your health failing you? But most importantly - how can we help you? Our wards are lonely and living alone citizens. There was work to do in each house: move vegetables, dig up a garden bed, collect ripe flower seeds, rake leaves and remove trash, bring firewood, dig up perennials, water an apple tree and even twist a garden hose! What seems like a matter of a minute to us, young and healthy, takes a lot of strength and energy from those who are 80+.

During the visit, the Emergencies Ministry employee also checked the houses for fire safety, the presence and serviceability of the fire alarm, reminded that burning dry vegetation is prohibited, and when cleaning, it is better to store plant waste in a compost pit.

– “To avoid a fire in the house, use only serviceable stoves, electrical equipment and household appliances. In case of an emergency, call 101 or 112,” the inspector recommended.

And, of course, a good, kind tradition is the installation of an autonomous fire alarm or replacement of the “crown” as a gift.

Today, young rescuers gave the elderly not only the results of their work, but also nice communication, which older people lack so much. In response – words of gratitude, sweets and a small bouquet of chrysanthemums for the woman in uniform.
