Ecological market near Minsk is planned to open in the first half of the year

The ecological market, which is being built in the village of Valeryanovo, Minsk region, is scheduled to open in the first half of this year, said Alexander Turchin, Chairman of the Ministry of Oblast Executive Committee, at a meeting today on the development of farms in the region, BelTA was told in the Ministry of Executive Committee.

"We are already starting to conclude preliminary agreements with farms that are ready to constantly supply their products to the eco-market. The rental price will be very comfortable," said Alexander Turchin. "Not all farmers can afford to put a permanent seller on the market, so we we’re considering another option. Perhaps some company will buy products from you and sell it yourself on the eco-market. The opening of the object is scheduled for the first half of 2020. "

According to the governor, a large outdoor area will be maximally involved. Perhaps farmers will be able to sell their goods from the machine.

A market for the sale of environmental products is being built on behalf of the President. This is a multifunctional four-story complex with an area of ​​20 thousand square meters. The emphasis will be on environmentally friendly products. Many agricultural producers will present their goods: from farms to large agricultural enterprises. It will be possible to purchase dairy, meat products, vegetables and fruits. The floors of the building will house offices, a food hall, craft workshops, and children's areas. The investors are Dzerzhinsky Agricultural Complex OJSC, Zhdanovichi Agricultural Complex OJSC, Veles-Mit LLC and Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 OJSC.
