A third of revenues to the budget of Minsk region was provided by 6 enterprises

In the metropolitan region, six large taxpayers accounted for 32% of budget revenues, or about Br1.2 billion. BelTA learned from the inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties for the Minsk Region.

In total, almost Br3.9 billion of taxes, fees and non-tax payments were received from the payers of the Minsk region to the consolidated budget of the region in 2019. In particular, about Br1.2 billion were credited to the republican budget, and Br2.7 billion was allocated to local budgets.

The consolidated budget revenue growth rate amounted to 109% in comparable prices to the level of 2018 - Br322 million was additionally received into the budget.

The predominant part of tax revenues to the regional consolidated budget was provided by organizations - their share was 94%, or more than Br3.6 billion. Br1.4 billion came from small and medium-sized businesses to the budget, their share was 36%. Individual entrepreneurs contributed about Br87 million to the budget (2.2%), and individuals - almost Br146 (3.7%).

In terms of types of taxes, the most revenue received was Br990 million (25.4% in consolidated budget revenues), income tax - Br813 million (20.9%), and natural resource extraction (withdrawal) tax - Br697 million (17.9%), on dividends on shares and income from other forms of participation in capital - Br400 million (10.3%), on real estate tax - Br203 million (5.2%), on excise taxes - Br139 million (3 , 6%), for tax under the simplified taxation system - Br112 million (2.9%).
