It is included in the action plan of the Year of the Small Homeland and is aimed at enhancing the activities of local public associations, exchanging experience and best practices, and developing civic initiatives. “49 organizations presented their projects, of which 13 district and city and 36 primary. The winners were determined in five categories. Among them were 18 organizations, another 21 were awarded with diplomas of the laureates of the competition,” the BSG explained.
So, in the nomination “Spirituality. Culture. Healthy Lifestyle” the project “Keeping Traditions, Looking to the Future” won the Soligorsk District Organization, and the organization “Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population of Kalinkovichi” was noted among the primary ones.
In the nomination "Wave of memory. Symbols of a small homeland" there were especially a lot of worthy titles of the best. The patriotic projects of the Pinsk, Vitebsk, Grodno city and Lenin regional (Minsk cities) organizations, as well as 8 primary ones, including libraries, educational institutions, etc., received recognition.
The winners in the nomination "Third Age" were the Volozhin District Organization (for the project "Prevention of age-related cognitive changes in older people living in Volozhin and Volozhinsky District") and the primary organization of the Minsk City Ministry of Emergencies (for the project "Taking Care of the Security of the Small Homeland") .
In the nomination "For a clean house, a clean country, a clean planet" the project "Women's Beauty in the Mirror of the Homeland" of the primary organization of the NGO "BSZ" of the Zolak Palace of Children and Youth Zavodsky District of Minsk was recognized as the best.
"For Peace, International Cooperation and Friendship" will award the primary organization of the department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs of the Zhodino City Executive Committee.
After the ceremony, an excursion to the Palace of Independence is planned for all participants.
