Social marathon “Different, but equal” will be held in Minsk on the Day of Persons with Disabilities

The social marathon “Different, but Equal,” dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, will be held on December 3 at the Minsk Palace of Culture, BelTA was told in the press service of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The program of the marathon announced the exhibition and sale of souvenir products produced by social institutions and public associations of Minsk. Consulting centers of psychological and legal assistance will work, which will help to deal with issues of social support, employment, pensions, health and active longevity.

For participants and invited guests, activity zones will work: “Voice as an instrument”, “Magic of a song”, “Walking as a lifestyle”, “Wellness yoga”, “Awakening”, master classes in oriental dancing and defile. Creative venues of the territorial centers of social services for the population and public associations of Minsk will be presented: "Embroidery with ribbons", "Image. Style. Fashion", "The world of decoupage", "Fragrances for beauty and health", "The mystery of Russian painting", "Artistic skin treatment " and others.

The organizers prepared a festive concert with the participation of Belarusian pop stars and circus performers. A celebration will also be held of silver age volunteers providing social assistance and support to the elderly and people with disabilities.
