Belarus admits over 5,600 Ukrainian citizens since 1 January 2023

More than 5,655 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the committee, 4,178 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 1,080- via Lithuania and 397- via Latvia.

Since 24 February 2022, Belarus admitted 80,359 citizens of Ukraine. 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 50,683 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 11,230 - via Lithuania and 2,556- via Latvia.
